CE-marked implant systems. JCI-accredited dental clinics. Dedicated coordination from first enquiry through treatment and discharge documentation.
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to act as artificial tooth roots, onto which crowns, bridges, or dentures are attached. Istanbul is an established destination for dental implant treatment, with modern facilities and costs typically lower than UK private dental clinics.
Ocean Health & Travel coordinates dental implant treatment at JCI-accredited and internationally certified dental clinics in Istanbul. We are a coordination service — not a dental provider. All clinical decisions rest with your treating dentist.

Most patients complete the implant placement phase in 7–10 days in Istanbul. The process typically involves:
Our partner clinics use CE-marked implant systems from established international manufacturers including Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, and MegaGen. The specific system recommended will depend on your bone density, anatomy, and treatment plan. All implant brands and models are specified in your itemised quote before any commitment is made.
Many patients maximise the value of their trip to Istanbul by combining dental implants with additional treatments such as zirconium crowns, porcelain veneers, smile design, or orthodontic work. We can coordinate comprehensive dental treatment plans — contact us with your goals and we will provide a full itemised quote covering all planned work.
Tell us how many implants you need. Full itemised quote within 48 hours — no obligation.
What to know before you travel and after you return.
In most cases you can fly immediately after treatment. Your dentist will confirm after more complex procedures. Ask your surgeon about compression stockings and moving regularly on the flight.
Operative notes, the discharge summary and any results are provided in English and forwarded to your UK GP on request. The treating hospital remains responsible for agreed follow-up. If you need urgent care at home, seek local medical help straight away. We can help coordinate communication with the hospital, but we do not provide post-operative medical care. Read what to do if something goes wrong.
You pay no coordination fee. We are paid by the hospital you are treated at, and we tell you this upfront. Deposits, payment schedules and refund terms are set by the hospital and confirmed in writing in your quote before you pay anything. Cancellation terms are in your coordination agreement — see the brokerage agreement.
Standard travel policies often exclude planned treatment and its complications, so check your cover and its exclusions before you travel. If you would like, we can introduce you to an FCA-authorised insurance provider offering medical-travel cover. We may receive a commission if you take out a policy. You are free to choose any provider, there is no obligation, and we do not give insurance advice.
